As of Friday of last week, work has finished for 2022 for Greenlord Studios, and what a year it has been. It has been a year of ups and downs for us here, but we have come through the other side better for it.
Greenlord continued to grow this year, hiring on another full time developer as well as taking on our first junior developer after they interned with us through Middlesbrough College. We are continuing to explore this option next year, as we will have two more college placements with us beginning in January. As well, we have just recently placed our first job posting for a non developer position, which reflects the needs of a growing company. Though we haven’t grown as much this year as we did last year, we are still happy with how the company is shaping up.
In terms of work done this year, we have almost exclusively been working on pre existing projects with already established clients. All our developers have been busy all year, which is everything we can hope for as a company. We have some interesting new projects lined up to start in the new year as well, which has our team feeling excited.
Another success this year was the rebrand of our logo and our company, as provided by Juiced Studio. We are exceptionally happy with the stylish new logo and the work provided by them, and think it better reflects the direction the company is heading in. As well, Juiced are working on a brand new website for us to match the new branding. From what I have seen of the website so far, it is looking amazing and we are very happy with it. The new website should be arriving early next year, so keep an eye out.
Finally, it is worth mentioning how fantastic the staff have been this year at Greenlord, and how much they have made the company something to be proud of. They have done brilliant work on the projects this year, and have worked through some trying problems together. As well, we’ve seen great attendance to work functions and parties. We even had a staff outing to climb Skafell Pike!
