September at Greenlord Studios
We have decided that it is time to move the developers back into the office, so we shall be putting plans to achieve that into motion by the end of this month. The hope is to have the 4 of them in the office, as far apart as we can have them. Our office building has done a number of risk assessments, and we are planning to follow their guidelines as closely as possible. The possibility of splitting the days between working from home and from the office is also being discussed, but we are hoping to have some presence in the office soon.
In other news, Callum is settling in fine and is proving to be exactly what we wanted. There are a handful of projects on the horizon that we could feasibly have him working on, so he is currently gearing up to work on whichever of those seems most suitable.
Finally, work is continuing fairly steadily. As mentioned previously, we do have a few new projects on the horizon, which we are very excited about given the relative dearth of new projects during lock down and furlough. It is also looking like some of our support contracts may be coming to an end, so it's possible that by this time next month, we are working on entirely new projects.
Anyway, that is a quick update on how we are doing at Greenlord. Everything seems to be going well, Callum is a great fit, and we are being sensible and responsible in how we are dealing with Covid. Thank you for reading!
